Mersey Heat, Liverpool Docks

This Catalyst investment has supported Peel and Enervate deliver 4,200 tonnes of CO² from the construction of water source heat pump energy centre, pipework and associated infrastructure at Liverpool docks that will connect into new commercial buildings and thousands of new homes. The project is at the forefront of low carbon infrastructure with is strategically important both locally and nationally having been referenced in the recent Autumn budget announcement by the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the first ministerial visit for the new energy minister.
